MyVarna

A civic issue-tracker for the city of Varna. Residents report problems on a map, the city sees them. Designed, built, and shipped to production by Playsquare.

01 / The idea

The idea

A city works better when problems are visible. A broken streetlight, a pothole, illegal dumping — small things that are easy to ignore when there's nowhere to point at them.

MyVarna gives residents of Varna one place to do exactly that: drop a report on a map, and put it in front of the people who can fix it.

It's civic software with a simple bar: it has to be usable by anyone, on a phone, in seconds — and it has to be real, not a pilot that never ships.

So we shipped it. It's live at myvarna.eu today.

02 / What we built

What we built

01

Map-first reporting

Residents drop a geolocated report in a few taps — the map is the interface, not a form buried three screens deep.

02

Neighbourhood view

Reports organised by district so patterns across the city become visible, not just isolated pins.

03

Bilingual, mobile-first

Built in Bulgarian for the people who live there, designed phone-first because that's where civic reporting actually happens.

04

Shipped to production

Live infrastructure, real users, in the wild — not a prototype waiting for a budget.

03 / How we shipped it

How we shipped it

AI-native, at founder speed. MyVarna was designed, built, and deployed the Playsquare way — agents in the loop from day one, a human directing every call.

That's the whole point of the studio: production software, shipped fast, by people directing the tools that build it. MyVarna is the proof it works — not a promise that it will.
